Good Noot nut pastes are nuts and nothing else. We roast and grind them by hand in our Kraków workshop – the nutty sibling of the Good Lood ice cream shop. In this collection you will find peanut paste (smooth and crunchy), pistachio, almond and hazelnut paste. Each has a single ingredient, with no added sugar or salt and no palm oil.
What is a nut paste?
A nut paste is made of roasted, ground nuts that release their own oil while milling and turn into a thick, spreadable mass. It needs no sugar, oil or emulsifiers – and ours have none. In everyday language such products are often called nut butters; the most popular one is peanut paste, but pistachio, almond and hazelnut pastes work just as well.
A paste differs from a spread in its ingredients: a spread contains additions (e.g. sugar, cocoa, milk powder, emulsifier), a 100% paste contains only nuts. Looking for something sweeter? Have a look at our nut spreads.
How to choose a good nut paste
Start with the ingredients. A 100% paste should have one ingredient – nuts. Added sugar, salt or oil change the taste and the nutritional values, so always read the label. Then choose the nut and the texture:
- Everyday classic – Peanoot Butter, smooth peanut paste. The most protein in the collection: 29 g per 100 g.
- For crunch lovers – Peanoot Butter Crunchy, the same ingredient with peanut pieces.
- For desserts and ice cream – Tylko Pistacja, 100% pistachio paste with an intense flavour and green colour.
- Mild and versatile – Tylko Migdał, almond paste made from roasted almonds.
- For hazelnut fans – Tylko Laskowy, hazelnut paste with a deep, roasted aroma.

How to use nut paste
The simplest way: on a sandwich, toast or rice cake, in porridge, yoghurt and smoothies. Peanut paste also works in savoury dishes, e.g. in an Asian-style noodle or salad sauce. Pistachio and almond pastes make a great base for creams, ice cream and desserts, and hazelnut paste for fillings and bakes.

What is the difference between nut paste and nut butter?
Only the name. “Nut butter” is a common name for a paste made of nuts, most often peanuts. Our pastes contain no milk – just roasted nuts.
How does nut paste fit into a balanced diet?
A 100% nut paste is simply nuts, so it has their values: e.g. Peanoot Butter provides 571 kcal, 46 g fat, 29 g protein and 9.5 g carbohydrates (of which 6.4 g sugars) per 100 g. It is energy-dense – enjoy it as part of a varied diet.
How much protein is in nut paste?
Peanoot Butter has 29 g of protein per 100 g (about 4.4 g per 15 g tablespoon), Tylko Migdał 27 g, Tylko Pistacja 26 g, Tylko Laskowy 15 g.
Are Good Noot nut pastes vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. All our 100% pastes have a single plant-based ingredient and are gluten-free.
Is nut paste suitable for children?
Our pastes are nuts only, with no added sugar or salt. Nuts and peanuts are, however, common allergens – decide with your paediatrician when to introduce them into your child's diet.
Can dogs eat nut paste?
Our 100% pastes contain no xylitol and no added salt. Before giving nut paste to your dog, consult your vet.
Smooth or crunchy – which one to choose?
It is a matter of taste. Smooth spreads more easily and mixes into sauces, crunchy gives you noticeable peanut pieces. Peanoot Butter comes in both versions, and you will find more crunchy options among our crunchy nut spreads.
