Crunchy peanut paste 100% – PEANOOT BUTTER CRUNCHY with roasted peanut pieces
A crunch you can't fake. Peanoot Butter Crunchy is a crunchy peanut paste made from just one ingredient: roasted peanuts. We grind some of them into a thick, rich paste and leave the rest in crunchy pieces – just enough to feel them in every spoonful. We make it by hand in Kraków, in the nutty workshop of Good Noot, the sister brand of the Good Lood ice cream shops.
Prefer a silky smooth texture? Go for our classic Peanoot Butter – the ingredients and nutrition values are identical, the only difference is the crunch.

Crunchy peanut paste – what exactly is it?
A crunchy peanut paste is a paste made from peanuts in which noticeable pieces of nuts remain. The smooth version is uniform, silky and runny. The crunchy version is thicker and gives a distinct crunch with every bite.
It's also worth telling a paste from a spread. A 100% paste is nothing but ground nuts, with no additions. A nut spread contains other ingredients too, such as chocolate and sweetening – like our Choco & Peanoot Crunchy, a peanut spread with dark chocolate and peanut pieces.
How to choose a good crunchy peanut paste? What to look for in the ingredients
- Ingredient list – a 100% paste needs nothing but peanuts. Every extra ingredient is an addition that changes the taste.
- Sugar, salt and oils – check whether the producer has added sugar, salt, palm oil or hydrogenated fats.
- Emulsifiers – they prevent separation. A paste without them may have oil on top – that's natural, just stir it in.
- Roasting – roasted peanuts give a deeper flavour and a golden colour.
- Pieces – in a good crunchy paste they are clearly noticeable, not just a token gesture.
