Oct 06, 2025Good Noot

Who doesn't love this iconic combination of nuts, caramel, and chocolate, encased in a popular bar? But what if I told you that this flavor can be recreated in homemade, gluten-free pralines?

It's possible! And it's all thanks to a brilliantly simple recipe from our Nut Lover, Weronika (IG: weronikcal ) , who is a master of healthy and delicious sweets. These energy balls are the perfect snack for that autumn energy slump that can hit us on a chilly October day and beyond. They're filling, delicious, and satisfy sweet cravings in a much healthier way!

The secret to the flavor? A cream that tastes like childhood!

How do you achieve the Snickers flavor without complicated ingredients? The secret lies in one cream! We're talking about our Choco & Peanoot Crunchy from Good Noot . .

Weronika put it perfectly: this cream tastes "totally like that Snickers cream from my childhood, only healthier! 🤤." And it's true! The combination of velvety roasted peanut paste, intense cocoa, and, most importantly, crunchy pieces of nuts, according to Orzechomaniaczka, perfectly mimics the flavor and texture of the iconic bar's filling. This ingredient is the heart of the recipe and a guarantee of success!

Recipe for healthy Snickers-style balls

To prepare these delicacies, you only need 4 ingredients and a moment of patience while cooling.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour (or finely ground almonds)

  • 3/4 jar of Choco & Peanoot Crunchy cream from Good Noot

  • 1/3 cup agave (or maple) syrup

  • 1 bar of dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa)

Preparation method:

  1. Combine ingredients: Place the almond flour, Choco & Peanoot Crunchy spread, and agave syrup in a bowl. Mix thoroughly with your hands or a spoon until a thick, compact, and slightly sticky mixture forms.

  2. Form the balls: Form the mixture into small, even balls in your hands. Place them on a plate or board lined with baking paper.

  3. Chill the base: Refrigerate the formed balls for about 30 minutes. This will firm them up and make them easier to roll in chocolate.

  4. Prepare the icing: Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave.

  5. Coat in chocolate: Remove the chilled balls from the refrigerator. Dip each one in the melted chocolate, making sure it's completely covered. Use two forks to help drain off any excess chocolate.

  6. Cool again: Place the finished pralines back on the baking paper and place them in the fridge for another few minutes until the chocolate has completely set.

And there you have it! Your healthy, gluten-free Snickers-style balls are ready to be munched on!
